Review

I was a bit torn over buying this palette, my favourite everyday eyeshadow is Cordura by Nars and a couple of these shades look similar. However on further inspection it is definitely different enough to justify owning both and it has the bonus of having some lighter highlighting shades and Night Clubbing, a gorgeous shimmering black. This makes the palette extremely versatile, allowing you to easily create a subtle day look as well as a sultry evening smokey eye from the same travel friendly product. I had also never tried the much talked about smudge proof eyeshadow primer so i was pleased to find out it does create the perfect base to apply your eyeshadow and it definitely stopped it from creasing as much throughout the day. The brush is excellent quality, the size makes it perfect for applying a base colour over the whole lid and I then had to switch to a more tapered brush to blend and apply colour through the crease. Overall I highly recommend this palette to anyone looking for a more neutral eyeshadow set to create soft brown day looks and sultry smokey eyes for evening, it is a lot smaller than anticipated which makes it perfect for travelling, with the very usable brush and primer this makes it pretty good value for money for such premium products.

I can't wait to see the mascaras in the flesh, i'm still not sure whether they are amazing or going to be pretty unwearable but they will certainly add a fun element to any makeup look. Also looking forward to the stylo eyeshadow pens, moon river looks like it will be a gorgeous everyday shade. What are you most looking forward to from the collection?
